About

Established in 1873 by the MacMahon family and physically moved — furnishings, counter, and all — to its current home on Upper Rathmines Road in 1994, Rody Boland's is a fascinating pub-as-mini-museum. The original Victorian bar fittings are on display alongside a mural of Rody Boland himself. Now owned and operated by the P.Mac's group, it retains all its heritage character with a lively modern crowd.
